Description

  • Serve as the primary on-site IT contact for onsite workers and resolve Level 1 hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Provide support for enterprise on-premise and cloud-based systems, including Office 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Citrix ShareFile, Okta, and related platforms.
  • Troubleshoot Windows and Mac laptops and desktops, browser-based applications, peripheral devices, and common login and access issues.
  • Handle day-to-day troubleshooting, access assistance, and general end-user technical support.
  • Own IT equipment procurement, provisioning, vendor coordination, asset tracking, device configuration, and software license management.
  • Administer Azure Active Directory users and devices, and support Microsoft Intune and endpoint management tasks.
  • Work with file and folder permissions, security groups, and Microsoft 365 groups as needed.
  • Manage multiple support requests, prioritize effectively, and escalate issues with clear documentation when needed.
  • Provide timely, professional support to onsite workers across time zones to maintain seamless IT coverage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in Computer Science or IT/IS.
  • 3+ years of hands-on IT support or systems administration experience in a professional office environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows and Mac OS troubleshooting, browser-based applications, and enterprise SaaS platforms such as Office 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Citrix ShareFile, Okta, Zendesk, Workday, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory user and device administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
  • Experience with hardware procurement and provisioning, including vendor coordination, asset tracking, device configuration, and software license management.
  • Familiarity with NTFS security permissions, share permissions, security groups, and Microsoft 365 groups.
  • Understanding of fundamental network technologies such as DHCP, DNS, VPN, and NAT, including hands-on IP configuration, network patching, and switch installation.
  • Ability to resolve issues quickly, manage multiple requests simultaneously, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal English communication skills.
  • Must be able to work remotely on the US shift from 8:30 PM IST to 5:30 AM IST.
  • Nice to have: PowerShell, Logic Apps, Power Automate, and/or Power Apps experience.
  • Nice to have: broader infrastructure background covering networking, operating systems, and application topologies.
  • Nice to have: experience with ISP equipment and hands-on network infrastructure work.
  • Nice to have: CompTIA A+, Google IT Support Certificate, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent.
