Description

  • Design, implement, test, review, and maintain Unity’s monetization platform, products, and services.
  • Build backend systems that enforce content policies and legal standards, including content deduplication and tagging.
  • Develop tools to detect and mitigate fraudulent activity and protect marketplace trust.
  • Ensure game publishers, players, and Unity remain compliant with global privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality code.
  • Write scalable code that supports both current and future product functionality.
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Influence the technical direction and team culture within the engineering team.

Requirements

  • Experience designing low-latency APIs and distributed backend services.
  • Proficiency in writing high-quality, scalable code in Golang, TypeScript, or Java.
  • Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and key-value stores such as Postgres, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Experience with streaming platforms and queues such as Kafka for batch enrichment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a remote-first team environment.
  • Experience with AdTech is preferred.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and observability tools such as Kubernetes and Ray is preferred.
  • Professional verbal and written English communication skills are required.
  • No relocation support is available, and work visa/immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
