Description

  • Drive new customer acquisition and own a quota for incremental Account Contract Value (iACV).
  • Lead analytical and consultative sales cycles to win competitive new business opportunities.
  • Work with Financial Services customers to understand business and technical requirements and design tailored solutions on Twilio’s communications platform.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, Pricing, and Operations to structure mutually beneficial contracts.
  • Present complex contractual, technical, and financial information in a clear and persuasive way to prospects.
  • Manage multiple deals and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with sales, services, product, and finance teams to develop territory strategies and sales plans.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer to Twilio’s product and carrier relations teams.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast in Salesforce.
  • Stay current on CPaaS industry trends, new capabilities, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience, including at least 1 year managing or leading highly analytical products or solutions.
  • Direct sales experience with technical SaaS or CPaaS.
  • Experience with outbound prospecting into installed base accounts and greenfield new accounts, plus strong QBR strategy execution.
  • Technical solutions selling experience with real customers and problem-solving focus.
  • Ability to work with both business and highly technical leaders while building supportive partnerships.
  • Data-driven account development strategy and ability to use data to identify opportunities and prove value.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing business forecasts and financial models.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to define processes and build programs.
  • History of delivering market-driven results, especially for scale and enterprise customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Preferred: deep experience with telecom companies, including CPaaS, SMS aggregators, carriers, or global communications platforms.
  • Preferred: domain expertise in highly quantitative industries such as DevOps, fintech, advertising optimization, investment banking, security, or commodity trading.
  • Preferred: software, SaaS, CPaaS, or PaaS selling experience.
