Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, including the public TTS API and internal APIs for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking.
  • Oversee the backend API landscape and improve performance and maintainability.
  • Build and maintain backend services that support payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external APIs.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions with a focus on enterprise customization and integration needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to product decisions in a fast-paced, strategic environment.
  • Help deliver scalable services that meet business and scalability requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript/Node.js is required.
  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is required.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact and move efficiently from ideation to implementation.
  • Preferred experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Preferred experience deploying highly available applications on Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
  • Experience building great user experiences that delight users.
