Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Ship production code for the Speechify iOS application.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing app architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers to guide product direction.
  • Make thoughtful product decisions that balance speed and quality.
  • Contribute to a fast-moving, remote, distributed engineering environment.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception through meaningful traction.
  • Strong customer focus and obsession with delivering the best possible user experience.
  • Product thinking and ability to support internal teams and designers in the right direction.
  • Ability to work quickly and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Ability to stay focused and know when to engage versus work independently in a busy remote team.
  • Strong technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Experience with Fastlane.
  • Solid understanding of SOLID principles.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
