Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team on feature development and execution.
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing app architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers to guide product direction.
  • Contribute to fast-paced decision-making and delivery in a high-growth startup environment.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of taking products from inception to traction and owning the engineering of the product.
  • Strong customer obsession and focus on delivering the best possible user experience.
  • Product thinking and the ability to make thoughtful decisions about product evolution.
  • Ability to work quickly, prioritize what can ship now, and decide what needs more time.
  • Ability to stay focused and work effectively in a busy, remote, high-growth team.
  • Swift programming experience.
  • SwiftUI experience.
  • Experience with multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, Git, and Git strategies.
  • Solid understanding of SOLID principles and writing classes accordingly.
