Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team.
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
  • Support the app’s growth and new product initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers on product direction.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception to traction and owning engineering for the product.
  • Strong customer obsession and focus on delivering the best possible user experience.
  • Product thinking with the ability to make thoughtful product evolution decisions.
  • Ability to work quickly and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Ability to stay focused and work effectively in a busy remote environment.
  • Swift programming experience.
  • SwiftUI experience.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure and Fastlane.
  • Knowledge of SOLID principles and writing classes according to SOLID.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
