Description

  • Coach a team of approximately 8 Account Executives on sales strategy, pipeline reviews, and quarterly target achievement.
  • Hire new Account Executives and support their onboarding and ongoing development.
  • Provide clear, tactical feedback and professional development support to Account Executives.
  • Work cross-functionally to solve problems and manage projects.
  • Create training content to support ongoing team development.
  • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles across the team and broader commercial organization.
  • Develop and maintain an inclusive, engaged, high-performing team.
  • Support Account Executives in outbounding and other full-cycle sales activities.
  • Use data to inform decisions and improve team performance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience with proven performance owning a complex selling motion from prospecting through close.
  • 1-2+ years of team management experience preferred.
  • Experience selling full-cycle sales.
  • Strong track record of overachievement, including coaching a team on outbounding.
  • Understanding of complex sales cycles with multiple decision makers, multiple products, and extended timeframes.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort with public speaking.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team management skills.
  • Self-starter who is adaptable to change.
  • Growth mindset and willingness to learn a unique industry.
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to provide upward feedback.
  • Familiarity with SFDC.
  • Annual on-target earnings (OTE) of $169,120 to $241,600 USD.
