Description

  • Coordinate and manage scheduling for client appointments, assessments, and services.
  • Request and obtain prior authorizations from insurance providers.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling and authorization records in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies to resolve scheduling and authorization issues.
  • Monitor authorization statuses and follow up on pending requests to avoid delays in care.
  • Assist with process improvements to increase workflow efficiency and compliance with payer requirements.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare scheduling and authorization roles.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience with Waystar, Central Reach, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Availability to work U.S. hours (9 AM - 5 PM EST).
