Description

  • Analyze defaulted Home Equity Investments and develop strategic loss mitigation and recovery solutions.
  • Manage loss mitigation, bankruptcy, and foreclosure workflows for complex default cases.
  • Communicate and collaborate with customers, investors, attorneys, subservicers, and foreclosure firms.
  • Provide subservicer oversight through audits, call listening, and performance/compliance reviews.
  • Maintain accurate servicing documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Resolve escalated servicing requests and support inbound and outbound customer inquiries.
  • Train and coach team members on new policies, procedures, and servicing practices.
  • Refine policies, procedures, workflows, and the proprietary servicing system in partnership with product and engineering teams.
  • Provide timely reporting and status updates to investors regarding Home Equity Investments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in mortgage, HELOC, or Home Equity Investment servicing, specifically in default management and loss mitigation.
  • Deep technical knowledge of foreclosure processes from default through final sale or bid.
  • Ability to interpret title reports and resolve complex lien issues.
  • Experience conducting subservicer audits and call monitoring to ensure compliance and performance standards.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage servicing regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and build effective loss mitigation plans.
  • Experience managing relationships with investors, attorneys, subservicers, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring team members and transferring technical knowledge.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) required.
  • Must reside in one of Point’s states of operation: AL, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, KS, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NH, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI.
