Description

  • Ship zero-to-one AI products from customer discovery and prototyping through production deployment and iteration.
  • Design and implement agentic AI systems using LLMs, tool use, memory, and orchestration.
  • Develop AI tools that improve efficiency across clinical operations, data extraction, and manual workflows.
  • Work directly with customers to understand provider workflows and identify high-value AI opportunities.
  • Partner with the AI research lab to take proprietary models from research prototypes into production.
  • Contribute to model training and post-training, including fine-tuning, evaluation, safety testing, and optimization.
  • Build serving infrastructure and shape the user experience for launched AI products.
  • Own end-to-end deployments of AI products.
  • Collaborate across engineering, product, and design to deliver products to customers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML or LLM-powered products in production.
  • Demonstrated ability to take AI features or products from idea to production, ideally in a zero-to-one context.
  • Strong full-stack engineering skills with proficiency in Python and modern web frameworks.
  • Production experience with LLMs, including fine-tuning, RAG, prompt engineering, agentic architectures, structured extraction, evaluation, and observability.
  • High agency and autonomy, with the ability to unblock yourself and drive work to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex AI concepts to clinical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience in healthcare, biotech, diagnostics, or pharma, especially oncology, preferred.
  • Familiarity with clinical workflows, electronic health records, or provider-facing software, preferred.
  • Track record working in regulated environments such as HIPAA, FDA, CLIA, or CAP, preferred.
  • Background in computational biology, genomics, or multimodal data such as imaging, sequencing, and clinical records, preferred.
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, MLflow, or similar ML platform tooling, preferred.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth startup or zero-to-one product environment, preferred.
