Description

  • Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with Parity Homes’ mission and housing programs.
  • Stay current on grant-funding trends, best practices, and evolving strategies.
  • Collaborate with leaders and program staff to assess funding needs and strategic priorities.
  • Draft, edit, and prepare grant proposals, letters of intent, and supporting materials.
  • Ensure submissions meet funder guidelines, requirements, and deadlines.
  • Manage the full grant submission process and maintain organized records of grant activity and funder communications.
  • Follow up with funding agencies to track proposal status and requests.
  • Support grant administration, compliance, and reporting for awarded grants.
  • Work with finance and program teams to prepare financial statements, progress updates, and impact reports.
  • Cultivate relationships with funders, partners, and potential donors, and represent Parity Homes in related communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a grant writer with a track record of successful awards.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with grant databases, online submission portals, and digital research tools.
  • Understanding of the nonprofit sector and funding ecosystem.
  • Experience with grant administration and compliance reporting preferred.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills preferred.
