Description

  • Own and drive the end-to-end technical architecture of the system.
  • Serve as the primary technical partner for the client and lead technical discussions.
  • Translate business requirements into a technical roadmap, system design, and actionable team goals.
  • Guide engineers through technical decision-making, mentorship, and clear communication.
  • Contribute hands-on to critical and architecturally significant parts of the system.
  • Ensure the technical quality, feasibility, scalability, and integrity of engineering deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Managers and client stakeholders on timelines, scope, trade-offs, and feasibility.
  • Manage technical debt to balance delivery speed with long-term maintainability and quality.
  • Support the team through other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with progression into technical leadership.
  • Proven experience architecting and leading complex, data-centric software systems from the ground up.
  • Exceptional client-facing communication skills and the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Deep technical expertise and the ability to earn confidence through sound judgment and technical leadership.
  • Strong pragmatic decision-making skills balancing technical excellence, project constraints, and business goals.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, domains, and tools.
  • Experience providing technical feasibility analysis to support scope, planning, and delivery timelines.
  • Experience with documents, data pipelines, enterprise back-office tooling, AI/ML systems, or complex data pipeline domains is a plus.
  • Hands-on expertise with Python and its ecosystem in a data-intensive environment is a plus.
  • Consulting experience, heavily client-facing technical experience, or technical interviewing/hiring experience is a plus.
