Description

  • Support cross-functional projects across Workday functional areas, including Core HCM, Benefits, Advanced Comp, and Talent & Performance.
  • Review, test, and help implement system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Capture business process requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Identify and resolve process flaws or system issues and recommend improvements or alternative approaches.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements, test changes, and implement small to medium projects.
  • Develop and manage audits to maintain data integrity and compliance across systems.
  • Train team members, system users, and People Team stakeholders on new and existing processes and functionality.
  • Evaluate new technologies, application solutions, techniques, and related tools to support HR systems needs.
  • Leverage technology and automation tools to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Communicate HR systems questions, concerns, and updates to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar technical role with hands-on Workday configuration experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR systems and technologies, including HRIS, payroll systems, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Knowledge of HR-related processes, employment laws, and practices.
  • Experience with Workday integrations and data exchange between third-party systems is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • A customer-centric, employee experience mindset focused on resolving questions and issues.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize quickly in a fast-moving environment.
  • Self-starter who is highly motivated and eager to improve processes.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with current trends in HRIS, delivery support, and related technologies is preferred.
