Description

  • Develop security automation and internal applications for the information security organization.
  • Support the U.S. Threat Operations team with daily operational activities and incident response efforts.
  • Work with analysts, engineers, IT, and product engineering teams to improve Ivanti’s security posture.
  • Assist in detection and alerting using security tools based on current events, research, and team needs.
  • Implement new security tools and infrastructure as code as required.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of security standards, practices, and processes.
  • Support audit and continuous monitoring projects and help maintain Ivanti’s certifications.
  • Evaluate new technologies and processes that enhance security capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities and security issues.
  • Stay current on cloud security trends and apply best practices to ongoing workflows.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with software engineering languages and full-stack development, including Go, Python, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, OAuth, SAML, and REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience building backend services, APIs, databases, or internal tools.
  • Understanding of cloud computing concepts and familiarity with AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Linux and modern software development tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities, threats, and attack vectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills for documenting and presenting technical information to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexibly across changing projects and priorities.
  • Ability to work on FedRAMP initiatives with the need for immigration support.
