Description

  • Oversee and support day-to-day manufacturing, production, and supply chain operations across end-to-end processes.
  • Manage production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and materials flow to meet service and cost objectives.
  • Optimize workflows, systems, and processes to improve efficiency, cost control, and service levels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, procurement, logistics, and maintenance teams.
  • Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, ISO standards, and internal quality and safety policies.
  • Monitor KPIs related to production output, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, quality, and cost performance.
  • Support supplier performance management and supply chain risk mitigation activities.
  • Lead, mentor, and support teams, supervisors, and planners to drive operational performance.
  • Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventative actions; contribute to strategic and capacity planning for long-term improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • 5–10+ years of experience within manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or industrial operations.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: manufacturing/production management, supply chain management or planning, procurement/strategic sourcing, logistics/warehousing/distribution, process or quality engineering.
  • Strong understanding of UK manufacturing and supply chain processes and best practices.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience using ERP, MRP, WMS, or MES systems.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced operational environments.
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments is advantageous.
