Description

  • Own and manage the Hospice AWS infrastructure using Terraform across EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, and Backup services.
  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for .NET applications moving off legacy deployment processes.
  • Execute the cloud cost optimization roadmap, including right-sizing, savings plans, and storage tiering.
  • Plan and lead the migration of EC2-based workloads to modern architectures such as EKS, Lambda, and Step Functions.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability using Datadog and CloudWatch.
  • Ensure HITRUST E1 compliance and security best practices across all environments.
  • Mentor and upskill the Hospice application team on AWS operations and modern SDLC practices.
  • Collaborate with the DBA team on migrating SQL Server from EC2 to RDS.
  • Manage production patching, backup and disaster recovery, and incident response for the Hospice platform.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Deep expertise with AWS services including EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, and CloudFormation/Terraform.
  • Strong Terraform experience, including modules, state management, and CI/CD integration.
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog and CloudWatch.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience working in regulated environments such as HIPAA, HITRUST, or SOC2.
  • Experience with Windows Server and .NET application deployments preferred.
  • Experience migrating legacy on-premises workloads to AWS preferred.
  • Experience with SQL Server administration or migration to RDS preferred.
  • AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer preferred.
  • Experience mentoring or leading small teams preferred.

  • Base salary range of $150,000 to $165,000.
