Description

  • Build and maintain the data platform that delivers timely and accurate data to operational teams and business stakeholders.
  • Work with data scientists and data analysts to turn data into meaningful business insights.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to codify infrastructure as code and support platform scalability.
  • Deploy new data pipelines.
  • Design and build data observability platforms and metrics.
  • Build metadata-driven pipeline solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize data transformations.
  • Build third-party data integrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Science.
  • At least 4 years of work experience in software engineering.
  • Experience with one or more major cloud vendors: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with SQL-based and Python data manipulation on large datasets.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience with AWS and Terraform (preferred).
  • Experience designing ELT/ETL workflows (preferred).
  • Programming experience in Python (preferred).
  • Experience administering or tuning Snowflake (preferred).
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

  • Base salary range of $140,000 to $175,000 USD.
