Description

  • Cultivate new and existing merchant leads through in-person outreach, cold calling, and phone contact.
  • Maintain and nurture an active pipeline of potential merchant partners and qualify inbound leads via phone and email.
  • Identify decision makers, uncover merchant needs, and determine the best partnership approach.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, negotiation, proposal drafting, contract sending, and closing.
  • Demonstrate Favor’s value and return on investment to secure new merchant partnerships.
  • Record and report all sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Plan territory sales strategy with the Regional Sales Manager for both outside and inside sales.
  • Spend at least two days each week meeting business owners and decision makers in person.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new merchant partners and deliver a strong customer experience.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals and quotas while resolving merchant concerns quickly and professionally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience.
  • Previous experience as an Account Executive or in a similar sales or customer service role.
  • Experience managing the full sales lifecycle in person and over the phone.
  • Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines using Google Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including effective phone and email communication.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and delivering presentations.
  • Ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Must live in Dallas, Texas or the surrounding areas.
