Description

  • Prospect for and generate new business through cold calling, networking, and proactive outreach in a hunting sales role.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and renewals.
  • Consult with clients to understand their energy needs and risk tolerance and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients with an executive-level presence.
  • Address client concerns, negotiate, and close sales to achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with operations, management, and other internal teams to support a seamless customer experience.
  • Use HubSpot and other CRM tools to track leads, manage accounts, and optimize the sales process.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the energy industry, such as retail gas or electricity, sustainability, solar, or demand response, or a readily transferable industry.
  • 3+ years of B2B outside sales experience.
  • Experience identifying new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and related channels.
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team-oriented sales process.
  • Demonstrated resilience, determination, ambition, passion, teamwork, and grit.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively while independently driving sales initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Must live in California.
