Description

  • Build and manage a self-sourced pipeline of target organisations aligned to the client’s Ideal Customer Profile.
  • Research and identify key decision makers such as Managing Directors, Partners, COOs, and Heads of IT.
  • Execute outbound prospecting through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, personalised email campaigns, and webinars.
  • Develop account-based outreach strategies using sector trends, risk and compliance pressures, and business change signals.
  • Run structured prospecting campaigns across a defined list of target accounts.
  • Conduct initial qualification conversations to assess business relevance, fit, current IT setup, pain points, and appetite for change.
  • Book meetings for the BDR team only when prospects meet the agreed qualification criteria.
  • Prepare detailed handover notes and maintain accurate CRM records of outreach, conversations, and outcomes.
  • Work closely with the BDR and Pre-Sales teams to improve meeting quality and conversion.
  • Test, refine, and improve outreach messaging, objection handling, and overall conversion rates.

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B sales, ideally in IT, MSP, SaaS, or professional services.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, or IT challenges faced by SMEs.
  • Proven ability or strong desire to succeed in outbound sales.
  • Confidence in cold calling and engaging senior decision-makers.
  • Strong research and targeting skills.
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and disciplined approach to work.
  • Clear, professional communication style.
  • Experience with account-based or targeted outbound approaches is preferred.
  • Full-time remote availability aligned with UK hours.
