Description

  • Lead the configuration and administration of Workday as the primary system of record, with seamless integrations to Greenhouse, Lattice, Checkr, and Slack.
  • Operate the People systems function with product management discipline, including ownership, timelines, governance, and release management.
  • Conduct user interviews, identify pain points, and drive system improvements to increase adoption and end-user enablement.
  • Design and optimize workflows that reduce manual escalation, increase self-service, and help the People team scale efficiently.
  • Manage the Jira Service Management queue for People Systems, triaging complex issues and providing support to a global workforce.
  • Partner with IT to build, monitor, and troubleshoot integrations using EIBs, Studio, REST/SOAP APIs, and iPaaS tools.
  • Ensure employee data is accurate, audit-ready, and useful for leadership reporting and people decisions.
  • Manage security groups and access audits while maintaining compliance with global privacy and security standards such as GDPR and SOC2.
  • Lead the rollout of new features across the People tech stack and keep SOPs and how-to documentation current.
  • Work occasionally outside standard hours to support a remote-first, multi-time-zone team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in People Systems or HRIS.
  • At least 3 years of deep Workday configuration experience, including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and Security.
  • Proven ability to own projects end-to-end from problem identification through solution launch.
  • Experience driving multiple workstreams, end-user enablement, and strong documentation practices.
  • Demonstrated product-manager mindset for managing People technology as a product.
  • Practical experience administering tools for Talent Acquisition, Performance/Engagement, and Tier 1-3 ticketing.
  • Experience with EIBs, REST/SOAP APIs, and iPaaS tools for integration troubleshooting.
  • Experience with data architecture and understanding how data fields connect across platforms.
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements for non-technical audiences such as recruiters and executives.
  • Availability to occasionally work outside standard hours in a remote-first, global, multi-time-zone environment.
  • Workday Pro certifications in Core HCM, Security, Advanced Compensation, or Reporting are preferred.
  • Experience with Workday Extend and/or Prism Analytics is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Slack integrations and Workflow Builder is preferred.
