Description

  • Answer inbound inquiries from policyholders and agents by phone and email, providing timely and efficient support.
  • Assist with policy details, billing inquiries, endorsements, and general coverage questions.
  • Support policy renewals by explaining coverage and guiding customers through the process.
  • Maintain accuracy in underwriting and policy-related communications.
  • Build foundational knowledge of underwriting, billing, DriveSmart, cancellations, and reinstatements.
  • Develop proficiency in Cover Whale’s knowledge base and policy servicing processes.
  • Deliver high-quality responses that reduce follow-up inquiries and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with the DriveSmart, Underwriting, and Billing teams to resolve customer needs smoothly.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of insurance experience, preferably in underwriting or policy servicing.
  • Strong customer service and phone communication skills.
  • Experience handling complex insurance inquiries.
  • Proficiency with business applications such as Zendesk, HubSpot, Slack, and Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Spanish fluency is a bonus but not required.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $52,232.80 to $66,000 for remote candidates at the start of employment.
  • Base salary of $62,000 to $70,000 for hybrid positions in New York.
