Description

  • Serve as the first point of contact for agencies seeking appointments and move prospects through the appointment pipeline.
  • Engage prospective agencies to understand their goals and align them with Cover Whale’s offerings.
  • Guide new agency partners through onboarding from appointment to active writing.
  • Support agencies with appointment requirements, underwriting guidelines, licensing, and documentation completion.
  • Develop and maintain resources, guides, and tutorials that help agencies adopt the platform quickly.
  • Assist agencies in navigating the platform and understanding underwriting appetite for long-term success.
  • Track agency activation metrics and share insights with the Business Development team to improve onboarding and retention.
  • Identify patterns in agency interactions and flag opportunities for process or product improvements.
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, underwriting, product, and marketing to ensure a seamless partner experience.
  • Cross-train with the Agency Success Lead to build a full understanding of agency success workflows, systems, and strategy.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in customer success, client services, sales support, or a related role.
  • Insurance industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with the insurance or MGA space, particularly commercial auto, trucking, or logistics, is preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and comfort building relationships with external partners.
  • Working knowledge of Google Sheets, HubSpot, and DocuSign.
  • Analytical mindset with interest in data-driven decision-making and process improvement.
  • Exposure to Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools is a plus.
