Description

  • Lead and coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams for the renewable energy and storage industry association initiative.
  • Maintain and refine the Renewable Energy and Storage Industry Association Strategy to reflect changing market, policy, and industry dynamics.
  • Coordinate with GETI program leads to deliver initiative outputs and outcomes aligned with the overall strategy.
  • Prioritize and coordinate regional and global convenings to support broader solar agenda goals.
  • Serve as the primary coordination point for internal teams, external partners, and associations supporting the initiative.
  • Support funder engagement by organizing briefings, preparing agendas and briefing materials, and drafting written updates.
  • Collect, synthesize, and report grantee updates through regional leads for funders and stakeholders.
  • Lead or support strategic communications activities and develop policy-maker-friendly briefings and written materials.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs, a learnings database, and monitoring and learning reports for stakeholders.
  • Facilitate learning sessions with grantees to capture successes and lessons learned.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of relevant professional experience, including 7+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Experience working with trade associations or at the public-private intersection in clean energy is an advantage.
  • Strong experience in strategic planning, project oversight, and budget management.
  • Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder or international environments.
  • Relationship-oriented and solutions-focused, with the ability to partner effectively across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with philanthropic, nonprofit, coalition, advocacy, or legislative communities is preferred.
  • Self-directed, thoughtful, and able to balance strategic vision with operational execution.
  • Able to work effectively both virtually and in person with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working in a global matrixed team.
