Description

  • Execute the Safe and Secure Operations Strategy and support related standard operating procedures.
  • Support the manager in ensuring security technology functions properly and adds value to business processes.
  • Manage multiple priorities, escalate significant issues, and recommend solutions.
  • Implement operations technology capabilities and help get equipment fully operational quickly.
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze performance, and drive action plans to improve lagging metrics.
  • Use data and reporting to identify wins, opportunities, and metric improvement tasks.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers in a client-facing support role.
  • Support installation, piloting, and post-deployment efforts for physical security solutions.
  • Review, create, and escalate help desk tickets, emails, and calls to diagnose and document issues.
  • Document process standards, equipment information, how-tos, and solutions for the team.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, system specifications, and manuals.
  • Travel to sites as needed to support pilot installations and vendor/partner oversight.
  • Provide remote and phone support to internal customers and alternate technicians.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in business, finance, or criminal justice, from an accredited college or university.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate, public, or military security systems operations, installation, and/or management.
  • Experience with physical security access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in project and/or program management.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and Tableau.
  • Strong experience with IP video management solutions, access control, and alarm monitoring systems.
  • Ability to deliver a consistent, top-notch customer service experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with remote users via phone or email and troubleshoot using remote connectivity tools.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
  • Strong understanding of basic TCP/IP and Windows networking and the ability to verify network connectivity.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and work with a self-starter’s mentality.
  • Experience with Wrike and/or MS Project is preferred.
  • Current IP video certification(s) or system knowledge is preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
