Description

  • Manage, maintain, and potentially take full technical ownership of client digital ecosystems.
  • Ensure the stability and ongoing performance of the current Magento instance.
  • Manage WordPress integrations, customizations, and related content management workflows.
  • Execute seamless deployments while transitioning technical responsibilities.
  • Audit, inherit, and optimize existing codebases and document technical debt.
  • Work with Magento 2 architecture, EAV models, and UI components.
  • Develop and maintain WordPress custom themes, hooks, and plugins.
  • Connect Magento and WordPress with external systems through REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Collaborate on staging-to-production workflows and manage Linux-based server environments.
  • Apply security best practices, including PCI compliance, patching, and hardening.

Requirements

  • Deep, hands-on experience with Magento 2.x, including architecture, EAV models, and UI components.
  • Strong experience with WordPress custom themes, hooks, and plugin development.
  • Proficiency in PHP 8.x and object-oriented programming.
  • Solid understanding of Composer and PSR standards.
  • Experience optimizing MySQL queries and working with Redis, Varnish, and Elasticsearch.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS (SASS/LESS), and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Magento frontend tools such as Knockout.js and RequireJS is a significant plus.
  • Experience integrating systems using REST and GraphQL APIs with ERPs, CRMs, or marketing tools.
  • Solid understanding of Git, staging-to-production workflows, and Linux-based server environments such as Nginx or Apache.
  • Knowledge of PCI compliance, Magento security patching, and WordPress hardening techniques.
  • Adobe Certified Professional (Magento) or a similar certification is preferred.
