Description

  • Manage and maintain Magento 2 and WordPress applications across client projects.
  • Take ownership of existing codebases, including auditing, documenting, and improving inherited systems.
  • Ensure the stability and reliability of the current Magento instance.
  • Manage WordPress integrations and support content management workflows.
  • Execute seamless deployments and support the transition of technical responsibilities.
  • Optimize performance across application, database, and caching layers.
  • Integrate Magento and WordPress with external ERPs, CRMs, and marketing tools using APIs.
  • Work with Linux-based server environments and staging-to-production deployment workflows.
  • Apply security best practices for Magento and WordPress environments.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams on ongoing technical needs and project delivery.

Requirements

  • Deep, hands-on experience with Magento 2.x, including architecture, EAV models, and UI components.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with WordPress, including custom themes, hooks, and plugin development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP 8.x and object-oriented programming.
  • Solid understanding of Composer and PSR standards.
  • Experience optimizing MySQL queries and working with Redis, Varnish, and Elasticsearch.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS with SASS/LESS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Magento frontend technologies such as Knockout.js and RequireJS is a strong plus.
  • Experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs to connect systems and external tools.
  • Solid understanding of Git, staging-to-production workflows, and Linux server environments such as Nginx or Apache.
  • Knowledge of PCI compliance, Magento security patching, and WordPress hardening techniques.
  • Adobe Certified Professional (Magento) or similar certification is preferred.
