Description

  • Manage, maintain, and potentially take over full technical ownership of clients' digital ecosystem.
  • Ensure the stability and reliability of the current Magento instance.
  • Manage WordPress integrations and related functionality.
  • Execute seamless deployments during the transition of technical responsibilities.
  • Inherit, audit, optimize, and document existing codebases and technical debt.
  • Build and maintain Magento 2 and WordPress implementations, including custom themes, hooks, and plugins.
  • Optimize database performance, caching layers, and overall application performance.
  • Integrate Magento and WordPress with external ERPs, CRMs, and marketing tools through APIs.
  • Support staging-to-production workflows and manage Linux-based server environments.
  • Apply security best practices, including Magento patching, WordPress hardening, and PCI compliance awareness.

Requirements

  • Deep, hands-on experience with Magento 2.x, including architecture, EAV models, and UI components.
  • Strong experience with WordPress, including custom themes, hooks, and plugin development.
  • Proficiency in PHP 8.x and object-oriented programming.
  • Solid understanding of Composer and PSR standards.
  • Experience optimizing MySQL queries and working with caching technologies such as Redis, Varnish, and Elasticsearch.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS with SASS/LESS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Magento frontend tools such as Knockout.js and RequireJS is a strong plus.
  • Experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Git, deployment workflows, and Linux server environments such as Nginx or Apache.
  • Knowledge of PCI compliance, Magento security patching, and WordPress hardening techniques.
  • Adobe Certified Professional (Magento) or a similar certification is preferred.
