Description

  • Manage, maintain, and potentially take over full technical ownership of clients’ digital ecosystem.
  • Ensure the stability and reliability of the current Magento instance.
  • Manage WordPress integrations, including custom themes, hooks, and plugin-related functionality.
  • Execute seamless deployments while transitioning technical responsibilities.
  • Audit, inherit, and optimize existing codebases, including documenting technical debt and legacy systems.
  • Optimize database performance and caching layers to support high-performance applications.
  • Integrate Magento and WordPress with external ERPs, CRMs, and marketing tools through APIs.
  • Support staging-to-production workflows and Linux-based server environments.
  • Apply security practices such as PCI compliance, Magento patching, and WordPress hardening.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams on a variety of consulting projects.

Requirements

  • Deep hands-on experience with Magento 2.x, including architecture, EAV models, and UI components.
  • Strong experience with WordPress, including custom themes, hooks, and plugin development.
  • Proficiency in PHP 8.x and object-oriented programming.
  • Solid working knowledge of Composer and PSR standards.
  • Experience optimizing MySQL queries and working with Redis, Varnish, and Elasticsearch.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS (SASS/LESS), and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Magento frontend technologies such as Knockout.js and RequireJS is a plus.
  • Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs for system integrations.
  • Experience using Git and working in staging-to-production deployment workflows.
  • Experience managing Linux-based server environments such as Nginx or Apache.
  • Knowledge of PCI compliance, Magento security patching, and WordPress hardening techniques.
  • Adobe Certified Professional (Magento) or a similar certification is preferred.
