Description

  • Develop autonomy software for aerial and multi-domain robotic systems, including platforms such as Fury and Barracuda.
  • Build Lattice for Mission Autonomy to enable multiple robots to collaborate across missions.
  • Work closely with Perception, Motion Planning, Hardware, and Test Engineering teams to solve complex robotics problems.
  • Design and implement software in areas such as computer vision, motion planning, SLAM, controls, estimation, and secure communications.
  • Build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments.
  • Contribute to software solutions that process and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Navigate and understand complex systems and established code bases.
  • Support development of multi-agent autonomous systems and related features or algorithms.

Requirements

  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of production-grade Rust experience in a Linux development environment.
  • Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis.
  • Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases.
  • Willingness to work on critical software with real-world impact.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Preferred: strong background in Physics, Mathematics, and/or Motion Planning to support modeling and simulation of physical systems.
  • Preferred: experience developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems in real-world environments.
  • Preferred: experience with feature and algorithm development, including behavior trees.
  • Preferred: experience developing software and hardware for flight systems and safety-critical functionality.
  • Preferred: knowledge of distributed communication networks and message standards.
  • Preferred: knowledge of military systems and operational tactics.
